When we walked into the hotel meeting room, where Courtney was getting ready, one of the first things she shared with us (as she was showing us her incredible dress and the details for her day) was how she refuses to take life too seriously. Today is exactly 13 weeks since that day and although I wish I could remembered the exact words she shared with us that morning, I found this quote that I feel resonates with what she said and how this day was for us:

“It's important to me that I don't take myself too seriously and I have fun with every experience in life. That is the whole point.” - Idara Victor

Editing this wedding and sharing these images with you tonight reminded me how fun this wedding was to photograph and just how inspired I was to see Courtney + Kiran embrace themselves for who they are as individuals and as a couple and allow that to shine thro on their wedding day.
