You’re sentimental—
You want to remember the little moments forever.
I’m Jenelle.
wedding & Family Photographer
I’ve been photographing couples and families for almost twenty years. I’m also a mother of two small children. And one thing I know to be true is that these experiences—getting married, starting a family, growing old together—are stories that deserve to be captured. Every fleeting moment and every quiet in-between.
I care… a lot. Almost to a fault.
Which means that no matter what you book me for, I’m in. All in.
You get to be truly present in every moment because the details are covered. Whether it’s the first day of forever or the beautiful mess of everyday life—these are the moments that matter, and I’m here to preserve them.

You deserve to be present on your wedding day.
The day after my wedding, I sat on the steps of our cabin, tears falling. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing or that I had missed something. Had it all been for nothing? But then I spoke to our guests and they told me how our wedding had touched them, how it had shifted something in their hearts. When I saw our photos weeks later, I saw everything I had been unable to feel in the chaos of the weekend. The laughter, the love, the joy, the community. It was bigger than me, bigger than a single day. The images were my proof.
It’s my mission to make sure every person I work with gets to fully live each moment on their special day.
My job is to observe: logistically, emotionally, and to ensure you get the best possible photos.
That means…
Sensing when you’re feeling overwhelmed and quietly creating space for you to breathe.
Replacing your bustle every time it falls, tucking the stray hair to get the shot, and looking for little details you’ll treasure later.
Making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, even if they tend to tense up and get awkward.
I’m like your supportive big sister for the day, but with a camera in hand making sure we don’t miss a thing.
"We can't thank you enough for such an incredible day. You not only did an unreal job with everything but you were just so much fun to be around. I feel like you were my older sister haha and feel like we got to know each other on a deep level which meant so much. It was a DREAM!!!!!! Can't wait to hang out with you guys again soon xoxoxo "

My Story
I’m a big fan of big loves.
My love story picked up fast, and brought a presence I didn’t know was possible. Within less than 6 months of dating my now husband, Parker, we traveled the continental US, Baja, CA, and British Colombia while living in his van with my pup Emma.
He had the trip planned already and asked if I would join. Without hesitation, my heart answered yes. My only question was if my dog could come. He obviously said yes.
I’ve never been so present before in my life, chasing sunrises and sunsets together every day.
After our van adventure came life on a boat. We spent three season on O.N.A. (Our Next Adventure), a 28 foot 1984 Chris Craft Catalina, until I was 6 months pregnant with our first child.
Motherhood has been by far the most challenging and rewarding adventure yet. It has only confirmed to me just how significant and essential capturing the fleeting moments within our chaotic lives is.
My birth story was a bit of a traumatic one, and I wasn’t myself for quite a long time after our son was born. Lost in the repetitive hours of breastfeeding and the inevitable demands of motherhood, I was angry at myself for not being present.
Thankfully, I married a photographer who captured these moments I struggled to embrace at the time. I look back on the images my husband took of us with an adoring burn in my heart and fondness that I am not sure I felt in the moment.
There’s so much beauty there.

Our story now includes two energetic little ones, Alasdair and Imogen, and our sweet old girl, Emma, who insists she’s more human than dog.
If you’re looking for presence… me too.
I bring my craving for feeling in the moment to everything I do. Not only do you get to live your beautiful life. But you can savor each second too—now, and every time you look through your images in the years to come.
