It was a private ceremony held on the anniversary of their 10 years of dating, within the same park in Stamford, CT where - at age 16 - they had their first date.  Adorned with Garrett's great great grandmother's engagement ring (over 100 yrs old) with her father by her side, Laura walked down the aisle while her groom played acoustic guitar to her. The personal ceremony was led by their best friend's father who had just recently beaten throat cancer, carrying the room to tears and plenty of laughs. Following, they met 55 of their nearest and dearest friends and family members for an intimate dinner at Tarry Lodge in Port Chester, NY.

Shortly after their wedding Garrett and Laura moved to California. It was one of the rare chances - and perhaps the only chance - they had to have all of their favorite people with them before they set off across the country.
